Picture cards have been used for years in a variety of settings and for many different purposes. With our growing knowledge about the importance of sensory and relaxation acitivities for all children, these cards and techniques are becoming increasingly popular and are being used in even more places - including schools (YAY!).
I've attached a PDF of some cards with fun, descriptive activities that I enjoy using when working with children. Just click on the turtle above. You can print and laminate them, hang them on a wall in your home, and even create a handy sensory book to carry with you. These activities offer many benefits to any child, but especially if you have a child that struggles with anxiety, focus, and/or sensory challenges.
If you would like additional cards or custom cards for your child, contact me.
Enjoy!
